Our First Spring Adventure!

Jeff's all time favorite thing to do is dirt bike! We rode together a lot last summer while we were dating and we have been anxious to get out and start riding again. My awesome father in law is bringing one of their dirt bikes down at the beginning of April for me to borrow this summer! I am so excited. Jeff and I have so many plans for this summer including hiking, mountain biking and camping. I have always been a country girl but I never grew up with dirt bikes so of course we had to start somewhere and get me some essentials for the summer. The helmet on the left was purchased 20 minutes before Jeff took this picture. I fell in love with it when I saw it!

I am slowly starting to look legit, now I just need to work on my riding skills. We will see how it slowly evolves over this summer.

Catching Jeff in an action shot!
That's the Snake River in front of me! Jeff and I would come here in the summer and ya know..."talk!"

After a little bike ride we decided to go on a little hike...or that's what I thought I was getting myself into! It ended up being around 4 miles up and back down. Lets just say it kicked my butt. I blamed it on the fact that I had worked a 12 hour shift the night before.

Last but not least...we shot a few guns. Jeff has been wanting to do it for weeks! He brought along a few books that he had from previous semesters that he wanted to destroy. Looking at the book it almost looks like Jeff had a bad experience in this class. I think he released a lot of school tension! It was much needed.

I was so tired by the end of the day that my hand was shaking while holding the gun! Don't get me wrong Saturday was a great day. Jeff and I are anticipating what kind of adventures this summer will bring!

Last Weekend in Review!

Last weekend was jam packed full of exciting, family packed fun! My sister Sara moved back to Idaho this weekend and we were there to help! We are so excited to have them here in Idaho. The Schofields weren't the only ones who moved home last weekend. The Ruys family joined us in Idaho too! We are so excited to have more family join the Idaho adventure. We had a lot of fun helping Sara and Chris unpack their things.
We had our annual Spring Bull Sale last weekend! It was one of our best bull sales ever. Jeff is in the left corner of the ring working on one of the gates that lets the bulls into the ring.
So after returning from Idaho Falls, Jeff and I decided to take a little sunday walk! We went up towards the temple, picked up Sara (Jeffs little sister), went and took a little visit to Emma and Jessies house and.....took lots of really really cheesy photos! Naturally we had to post some of them! Jeff made a comment about how he felt like we were taking engagement pictures again. I just laughed and told him to smile. Props to the photographer...Sara Jane Sabin:)

Jeff looks like a gangsta gangsta!

Ok I apologize for the kissing picture....I had to post it! We had a really fun weekend and we are loving being married!

It's Official!

For the past three years I have been going to school to become a Registered Nurse...and it finally happened! After what feels like hundreds and hundreds of clinical hours, a few needle sticks, thousands of tears, dozens of mornings waking up before 4, approximately 365 calls to home and family, 27 fantastic teachers, 2826 hours of intense studying, 8 pounds gained, 12 pounds lost, 1 fantastic husband, 101 supportive people who believed in me, 6 exit exams, 1 NCLEX 265 questions long, 1 Registered Nurse License!
On Feburary 6th 2009 my life changed forever. That was the day I took my NCLEX exam and passed! I honestly never thought I could do it. I know that I made it through because of the people that believed in me. Now I work as a Labor and Delivery nurse at a wonderful hospital with fun, hard working people that teach me to be a better nurse everyday. I love being a nurse and being a sugar mama for our family! I couldn't have found a better career to have for me and my family.
