SUPER DUPER WEEKEND!

Jeff's parents came all the way from Mattawa WA to stay with us for the weekend.

We had such a fun time!

We even had a couple more friends come and help us! Emma, Sara and Lilly stopped by after coming to Jeff's football game.

What I do when I get put ON CALL!

I was suppose to start another round of three shifts in a row last night, but to my joy I got 'call'. 'Call' is when our staff manager calls the nurses about 2 hours before the shift starts and tells them that they can stay home because there are not very many patients in the unit. BUT...anytime throughout the night you could get 'CALLED IN' to work if it starts to get busy.

The worst thing about getting call two hours before you go to work...I have pretty much slept the day away so that I can stay awake for the whole night!

In other words: I AM WIRED ALL NIGHT LONG!

I was pretty sure it was going to stay slow throughout the whole night however, so...Jeff and I went to SAMS CLUB!

Jeff's parents are heading down to Idaho this weekend so we wanted to make sure we were prepared...but I wasn't planning on going shopping till Thursday night so I had to think really hard about what we needed to get!

Toilet paper: CHECK!

Can't get enough of that
EXTRA HEAVY MAYONNAISE: NO WAY!

ONE 21 year old wondering confused and overwhelmed at SAMS CLUB: CHECK!
COW TONGUE AND RIBS: $#^@ NO!

A really heavy box of bottle water: CHECK!

And many other items for me to cook and bake with for a festive fall weekend with the folks!

What else do I do when I am 'on call'?...

After watching my TIVOed episodes and trying to read my book by cell phone light in bed...I finally shut my eyes around 0300!

I slept in till 1130 this morning...I am going to go for a nice fall run and then off to work...

ONE HUGE ROAD TRIP!!!

Jeff and I decided to go on an adventure last weekend! An adventure that we would never ever forget! My sister and her husband just moved to Vegas and we had to go visit them before my sister had her baby. We even took another road trip down to the beach in California to see my sister Rachel and her family! Here is a glimpse into a fabulous weekend!

Jeff has never been to Las Vegas or California so we had to cram all that we could into 3 days!
Vegas wouldn't be Vegas without IN-N-OUT!
To ease my obsession with shopping we stopped by H&M (one of my favorite stores). We ended up having a little fashion show there! Here are some of the latest fashions of Las Vegas!
A road trip wouldn't be a road trip without pigging out on some of our favorite foods, candies and weird treats! We even tried fried pickles for the first time and butterscotch rolls (YUM: made by Rachel).

We had to go to a buffet for dinner! WE WERE IN VEGAS!

After day 1 Eliza, Jason, Jeff and I took the 3 hour drive to California to spend the rest of the weekend with my sister Rachel and her family!

We spend all day at the beach!

We had so much fun...doing some gymnastic (or at least trying to) and playing hard core football!

I fell probably a million times while we were there and got a pretty good raspberry to prove it!

(It still hurts)

The beach wouldn't be the same if we didn't bury someone! So...Jeff volunteered and everyone helped out...even Crew!

Finley is my sisters little 5 month old! She is a little monster but the cutest monster I have ever met...here are some of her moments...including watching General Conference with me and grabbing Jeff's HUGE fingers (that is one of Finley's favorite past times)!

On the way home from California we all stopped by Peggy Sue's Diner! I felt like I was back in the 50's! This is where we tried the fried pickles. In the back of the restaurant they had the most random "Diner-Saur" park and stage! Of course I had to jump on the stage and dance it out!

After we got back from California we relaxed and tried to get some rest before our 9 hour drive back to Idaho!

GOODBYE VEGAS!

WELCOME TO THE WORLD HAILEY!

My sister in law Jeni had her 4th baby this last Wednesday! Jeni is such a great mom and I hope to have qualities like she does when I become a mom! Hailey Jewel Hebdon weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long!

Jeff and I haven't seen her yet cause they live in Washington but we are anxious to get up there and hold little Hailey soon!:) Pin It Now!
