HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Jeff and I were suppose to go to Washington for Thanksgiving this year but the roads were so horrible that we couldn't make it even half way!! We ended up staying in Idaho Falls and made our own Thanksgiving a great one in the end...
The Friday after Thanksgiving was spent waking up at 0430 to catch all the great Black Friday deals but later that night Jeff and I took Reagan to her very first Jazz basketball game courtesy of my parents.
She was such a great baby the whole time. The whole first half she sat on Jeff's lap, chewed on her hand and watched the players go back and forth and back and forth! The third quarter I fed and changed her and the fourth...
...was spent sleeping in Jeff's arms!! I don't think I have ever heard the arena that loud before! The fourth quarter was insane but Reagan didn't even flinch!
These pictures show just how horrible the weather was when we tried to drive to Washington! It took 2.5 hours to drive 80 miles!! We couldn't stop fish tailing and we were not even going 35 MPH! We tried our hardest but couldn't make it! I can't remember the last time Idaho got hit with such a bad storm!
The roads were pure ice! Fox news even said something about never seeing a storm so bad blanket Oregon, Washington, Utah and Idaho!! I don't think it stopped snowing for 4 days straight!

So like I said before we couldn't make it to Washington so we had to figure out some other plans...well my sister Sara was also suppose to go out of town but she decided to stay back as well due to the weather so we got together and had our own thanksgiving dinner!

It was perfect, small and so much fun! Unlike any Thanksgiving I have ever had!! Under 10 people at the dinner table! I decided to get creative and make some yummy desserts!

CARAMEL MAKING!
Our family friend, my mom and a few of my sisters got together to make homemade caramels just in time for the holidays!

Caramels take a lot of patience and stirring at the perfect temperature but the work is all so worth it!! We all have babies under a year old so it was fun to play with them and cook together!
Let the holiday dessert/candy making begin!

SHUTTERFLY HOLIDAY CARD PROMOTION!!

Shutterfly is giving away 50 free holiday cards to bloggers if you mention them on your blog!! I browsed over their cards and they are adorable! I wasn’t planning on sending out any Holiday or Christmas cards this year but with this promotion I will be able to now! I am so excited about this!
I personally have never used Shutterfly but many of my friends have! While I was browsing the website I kept thinking to myself, ‘why haven’t I ever used this site before!!’ Their cards are adorable! They don’t only have cards but they also can do photo mugs and a full photo book. (Just to name a few examples!)

It was really hard to choose a few favorites to share with everyone because I literally found dozens that I could use as my Holiday card this year but I like the two cards below because they are very classy but at the same time can have a fun side to them. The best part about it is you can choose which route to go with your photos…put all smiling family ones on there or put photos of just your family dog! Either way each card you choose is completely personalized to you because of your personal touch! YOUR PHOTO!

These are both stationary cards which is my favorite out of their selections. They also have photo cards and folded stationary cards!

Click on these links below to browse their cards!! I pulled my two examples from their Christmas card selections! The first from page 1 and the second from page 5! Check out their birthday card selection too! LOVE THEM!!

UPDATE!!
OK it has been way overdue but I wanted to update everyone about the crazy neighbor downstairs!
There really isn't much to say. He wouldn't plead guilty so he had to stay in Jail till the 20th of October. His mom was coming from California and made sure no one would release him from jail. She got here a day before the 20th and came and talked to Jeff and I. She was very sweet and apologetic. I felt really bad for her. Poor lady has had to take care of her son her whole life. I mean he is 27 for the love!! I am so grateful he has someone that cares so much! Anyways while she was talking to us she ensured us that he has never been violent before and that she would be by his side until they go back to California. So he got out of jail...I didn't see him until the day we left for Ragnar. I went to get the mail and my heart dropped when I saw him walk out of his apt. His mom was with him and I literally ran (walked really fast and didn't draw attention to myself) to my car. Then we left for Vegas and we came back on Sunday. The next day he left with his mom to California. He has to come back to see the judge again but by then we will be gone! The end of the story isn't as dramatic thank goodness but hopefully that experience is once in a lifetime and we won't have to deal with that again!
