The weekend

WAS AWESOME! 

I even got to squeeze in a date night with the hubby!!

 Striped shell: Shade clothing, Jean shirt: Target, Knitted vest: Forever 21, Belt: Target, Jeans: Ross, Boots: Madden girl, Watch: Betsy Johnson, Purse: TJ MAXX

 Instead of going out to an amazing dinner...or going dancing at some chic classy bar {uhhh...}

we went to a football game instead!!

NOT ANY football game...but the EMOTION BOWL!

OK let me explain...

 In Idaho Falls there are 4 high schools!

2 of the high schools...

Idaho Falls high school and Skyline high school have had a rivalry since the beginning of time!

{one of the top 10 rivalries in the nation I might add}

 and YES...I went to Skyline...and YES I am 23 and going back to watch them play!...

BUT to be fair my husband went to a little itty-bitty high school in WA...and ALTHOUGH I'm sure the school was great...I HAD to show him what a REAL football game was like!

YA know the difference between a 1A and a 5A school...SO that is my excuse for going to the game...

but I'll admit...I had a BLAST!

 There was over 8000 people there.

Absolutely NO WHERE to sit!

 After the game we couldn't help but grab some delicious and oh-so-addicting ORANGE LEAF!

 pineapple and coconut frozen yogurt mixed...

showered with strawberries and drizzled with some caramel and white chocolate!

HEAVENLY!

 Speaking of heavenly...this weekend was ALSO the General Conference for my church.

Although we spent most of our day Saturday and Sunday being spiritually filled together...Jeff went to the Priesthood session Saturday night which means MAJOR GIRLS NIGHT for me!

 My mom, sisters and I got together and for night at home!

Complete with some MAJOR desserts!

{Mint Oreo cupcakes...HELLO}

 AND for dinner...we went GREEK!

 Nothing better than some feta and hummus!

A DELICIOUS weekend to say the least!

In other news...

I have been working on my Halloween decorations for forever it seems!

I wanted to blog about it last week but I think I have moved, spray painted and hung things over and over again!

SO tonight I have had enough!...

I am finishing my decorations and that is that...
