PAINT!!

Remember that first little home tour I gave you all when we moved in!
We played a little 'where's Reagan?' and showed off our AMAZING green walls!!
AND although you can't see them here...
there WERE a bunch of dings and holes in the walls!
Vicki and Sara came from Washington to hang out with all of us and see Reagan.
I mentioned to Vicki that if we had some down time we could do some painting!
Well...Vicki is like the marathon painter of AMERICA!!
I am not kidding she was unstoppable!
And because of her example we ALL painted until the sun was rising...
well almost!
We may have painted the kitchen ORANGE!
Well...burnt spice to be precise.
notice the white paint mark on the butt...
I actually really LOVE IT!
The color that is...
{THE DREAM TEAM}
Sadie*Vicki*Sara*Jeff {not pictured}:)
Jeff says it reminds him of Thanksgiving.
I think it's retrogoodness!
I LOVE the crown molding color and the lighter wall color
The blue makes things a little brighter as well!

I really do LOVE all the color!!
If Vicki and Sara hadn't painted while they were here it would have taken us ALL summer to finish the painting!!

FOR REALS...words cannot express the gratitude Jeff and I have for ALL your hard work this week Vicki and Sara.

OH and all this painting and fun times with the in-laws is why I haven't posted...
BUT I have A LOT of posts up my sleeves so don't any of you worry!

XOXO

BONE N BACK 40 MILE RELAY RACE!

This Saturday I got together with a few of my crossfit friends and did some runnin'
I realized a little too late that I should have taken my huge sunglasses off!
I didn't know any of them very well before the race so it was great to get to know them better.
They are all awesome girls and it will be fun to do further races with them...
or crossfit workouts!:)
 I started us off...
Reagan and Jeff came along with me at 7 AM!
Most of my races Jeff has ran with me so it was really great having him there for me for support.
And to take the nasty running pictures...
where I realize I look like a hunched over exhausted hot mess when I run!
Oh and I should've worn a different outfit.

 The run was BEAUTIFUL!
 I can't believe I hadn't done the race before!
I definitely want to do it again next year.
There were 600 participants all together...
we were the 19th co-ed relay team to finish.
Overall I think we did pretty good!
Thanks again Sarah for letting me tag along!

MOMENTS...

...like these are priceless.
Except for the fact that I'm not sure whether to have heart pitter patters
or
a heart attack!
She could have easily fell out...
...but I told Jeff that if she did...
...I would light his dirt bike on fire!
{enters evil laugh}
I had to remind myself that although this might not be the safest thing in the world...
...and she just might have some whiplash after...
these moments don't happen very often!
And look at his smile...
that's one proud daddy!
 ****
I interrupt this post for a brief message...
I'm running the BONE AND BACK relay race bright and early tomorrow morning!
You know what that means...
CARB LOADING!!!
So a 5 mile run MIGHT NOT be a good enough excuse to eat homemade french bread goodness but...
it's good enough for me!:)
****
OK we can get back to these tender moments
At least daddy lathers her in sunscreen!!
Yeah...you can tell why I was kinda freakin huh!?
FASHION ALERT!!
Shield your eyes
I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry!
He brought Reagan inside and the next thing I know he's wearing this...
{imagine the creepy music that they play in movies while they start focusing closer and closer on something}
If the shorts weren't bad enough...
do I even have to say it?
oh the socks...
this should only happen to old men or stinky teenagers!
I thought I taught you well...
FOR THE LOVE
Jeffrey Craig Sabin
FOR THE LOVE!
AND
just because I CAN NOT...WILL NOT end my post with Jeff's fashion disaster...
we will end it with this precious thing!
Have a happy Friday!

Just because...

Rebecca, a very sweet reader of mine, emailed me and asked if I could read her latest post and pass the word along.
After reading I knew that the least I could do was post about this sweet little boy!

So I would like to introduce to you,
KAMERON MURRAY

Born January 21, 2009....
and this is his family

Dad- Daniel, Big Brother - Kasen and Mom - Beth

In July of 2010, Beth took Kameron to his pediatrician, for the umpteenth time, with the concern of his abnormally large belly that had been previously shrugged off as "normal". But this particular time mom wasn't giving up and insisted they look into this! I'm guessing momma bear stood her ground because the doctors finally preformed an ultrasound examination.

This ultrasound detected that Kameron's right kidney was LARGER than normal, had numerous cysts covering it and could possibly have a disease called Multicystic Dysplatic Kidney.
They immediately took Kameron to Children's Medical City in Dallas, TX. They did another ultrasound and additional testing and discovered that Kameron's kidney wasn't just larger than most children, but in fact TWICE the size of an ADULT kidney.

Kameron was only 19 months old and weighed a whopping 24 pounds at this time.

They scheduled an immediate surgery but before beginning, the doctors decided to do a chest X-Ray for safe measure. This revealed that Kameron had a huge cyst covering the lower lobe on his right lung and had two small cysts on his left lung.
The initial diagnosis was Cystic Adenmatoid Malformation, but unfortunately -a parents worst nightmare-, a few days later the  pathology results came back to show that Kameron had a rare cancer called Pulmonary Blastoma.

The surgeons and specialists decided to move ahead aggressively to help Kameron. And after just three days of having lung surgery, the surgical team removed his right kidney. A kidney that should of weighed ounces, weighed an astonishing 5 pounds.

Kameron, being the strong brave little man that he is, recovered very quickly.
August 23, 2010 he returned to Children's Medical City to have a port put in his chest for his chemotherapy treatments. And the following day he started the first -of his 9 months- round of chemo.

Kameron has amazed his family with his spunk and zest for life! Kameron may have cancer but cancer DOES NOT HAVE HIM!!

Today Kameron has 4 weeks left of his Chemo treatments and we are praying that Kameron is cancer FREE!!!

This obviously brought tears to my eyes and made me wonder...
What if it was me?
I was so grateful that Rebecca felt that she could reach out to me!

What can WE do?
Well....Rebecca has a few ideas!

Rebecca said,
"Now here is were I step in! Knowing what I know now -that NO kinda doctor comes cheap- I know this family is under a lot of stress because the bills are probably just stacking up! And I am taking it upon myself to ask YOU for help!
I am asking that you look at this precious boy and find it in you heart to help this sweet sweet family!
$1, $5, $100...it doesn't matter! EVERY LITTLE bit helps!
And if we can pull together and relieve a small burden from Kameron's parents, then I know they can focus on giving even MORE time and a happier heart to their precious baby boy!!
If you are interested in donating to Kameron Murray, you can email me at beckabecka1126@aol.com to find out further information. And if you feel as if you would like to take things ONE step further, grab my Kameron Murray button and pass the word on. Just remember to give them my email!
Thank you for your love and time."
