Well...I'm back with more hairstyles for my on-the-go toddler!
I've been storing them up in my pocket and now I'm ready to share 22 BRAND NEW TODDLER HAIRSTYLES!!
{All my hairstyles are unique simplysadiejane designs...I have been inspired from my inner goodness, friends, sisters and little girls in my ward but I haven't copied any blogs...just wanted to put that out there}
REAGAN is BEYOND EXCITED to be my model for all these and she of course patiently sat on the counter while I tugged and pulled at her hair...can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?
This is a picture from the previous post I did with 15 toddler hairstyles a while back
She looks so young...and she literally had NO HAIR back then...
Her hair is still very fine and short but almost every type of hair can pull off these hairstyles!!
I STILL only use 2 things...
water bottle and hair spray!
I NEVER do her hair while it's dry...that is the NUMBER 1 way to control fly-aways!
{Try to keep up with the random names I give these hairstyles...some of them get pretty creative}
LET'S GET THIS HAIRSTYLE PARTY STARTED!!

I pair ALL my hairdos with some kind of bow or clip.
I only buy the FADED GLORY brand hair ties (multi-colored) pack from WalMart (found in the toddlers section)
They are stretchy and easy to work with!
Remember if you want to keep your little toddler occupied keep her on a higher surface where she has to stay...
it doesn't keep her from moving but it will keep her from running away!
I often have to move with her while I do her hair as she explores my counter top finding her favorite brushes, eyeshadows and combs to play with...but after a while you learn to make perfect parts while moving!

She usually sits still for movies so I often give her my phone and let her watch movies!
If I'm desperate...I bring in the marshmallows!

ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of work. You have a cute model!
ReplyDeleteyou're my hero being able to do all these with your toddler.
ReplyDeleteMy Reagan wouldn't sit that long or let me touch her hair like that!
Huge props to you!
I am so envious that you can not only get her to hold still, but that you have the skills to do so many cute, creative dos! I can not french braid for the life of me!
ReplyDeleteHow did you get the Honey Boo Boo curls to stay?
ReplyDeletethis post makes me want to:
ReplyDelete1. kiss R sooooo much!
2. have you braid my hair everyday.
xoxo
These are all so cute! Did you use hairspray for the flyaways? If so, what kind? I have a 11 month old whose hair is coming in thick, but many flyaways! Thank you for this post!
ReplyDeleteCan u show us (or just me lol) how you do the bows??
ReplyDeleteSuper cute styles and super cute modelll
I would LOVE to learn how to do the hairbow pigtails too! Haven't seen those before! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I found your other post on pinterest on little girls hair dos and my daughter FINALLY has enough hair to do most of them. I'm pinning this one so that in a couple months I can try these on her too!! She is actually pretty good at sitting still for me if I sing lots of songs and hand her different new things to play with...lotion bottles, combs, big hair elastics, spray bottles, etc. We also keep a basket of different toys she only sees while doing her hair, and for now, that is really exciting for her, and she sits pretty good for me.
ReplyDeleteA) How did you do the flipped through things going UP into the piggies? Did you hold her on your lap face down or something? I love that one, I can't wait to try and figure it out when my baby gets more hair!
B) When you get more, post them so I can copy you.
C) My baby girl's name is Sadie too. I love seeing grown up girls named Sadie, when we decided on that name I was worried she wouldn't be able to grow up with the name, and she would sound like a little girl her whole life, but I don't think you come off that way at all, so yay, it'll grow with her.
All I can say I WOW, great job!!! My girls would love there hair to be done like that!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the hours and work you spent on these styles. They are so amazing Sadie Jane....and that sweet precious Reagan who suffered through it all....happily of course...
ReplyDeleteLove the sock bun style! So itty bitty cute! Thanks for sharing!!
