22 MORE fun and creative TODDLER HAIRSTYLES!!

Bookmark and Share
Well…I’m back with more hairstyles for my on-the-go toddler!
I’ve been storing them up in my pocket and now I’m ready to share 22 BRAND NEW TODDLER HAIRSTYLES!!
{All my hairstyles are unique simplysadiejane designs…I have been inspired from my inner goodness, friends, sisters and little girls in my ward but I haven’t copied any blogs…just wanted to put that out there}
REAGAN is BEYOND EXCITED to be my model for all these and she of course patiently sat on the counter while I tugged and pulled at her hair…can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?
This is a picture from the previous post I did with 15 toddler hairstyles a while back
She looks so young…and she literally had NO HAIR back then…
Her hair is still very fine and short but almost every type of hair can pull off these hairstyles!!
I STILL only use 2 things…
water bottle and hair spray!
I NEVER do her hair while it’s dry…that is the NUMBER 1 way to control fly-aways!
{Try to keep up with the random names I give these hairstyles…some of them get pretty creative}
LET’S GET THIS HAIRSTYLE PARTY STARTED!!
 1. FRENCH BRAIDED BANGS INTO PIGTAILS

20. ZIG-ZAG PIGTAILS

 21. THREE BRAIDED SIDE DO

 22. SIDE SWIPED PONY

 {AWESOME}
I pair ALL my hairdos with some kind of bow or clip.
I only buy the FADED GLORY brand hair ties (multi-colored) pack from WalMart (found in the toddlers section)
They are stretchy and easy to work with!
Remember if you want to keep your little toddler occupied keep her on a higher surface where she has to stay…
it doesn’t keep her from moving but it will keep her from running away!
I often have to move with her while I do her hair as she explores my counter top finding her favorite brushes, eyeshadows and combs to play with…but after a while you learn to make perfect parts while moving!
She usually sits still for movies so I often give her my phone and let her watch movies!
If I’m desperate…I bring in the marshmallows!

  1. I love them all!

  2. That was a lot of work. You have a cute model!

  3. you’re my hero being able to do all these with your toddler.

My Reagan wouldn’t sit that long or let me touch her hair like that!

    Huge props to you!

  4. I am so envious that you can not only get her to hold still, but that you have the skills to do so many cute, creative dos! I can not french braid for the life of me!

  5. How did you get the Honey Boo Boo curls to stay?

  6. this post makes me want to:
    1. kiss R sooooo much!
    2. have you braid my hair everyday.

    xoxo

  7. These are all so cute! Did you use hairspray for the flyaways? If so, what kind? I have a 11 month old whose hair is coming in thick, but many flyaways! Thank you for this post!

  8. Can u show us (or just me lol) how you do the bows??

Super cute styles and super cute modelll

  9. I would LOVE to learn how to do the hairbow pigtails too! Haven’t seen those before! Thanks!

  10. Yay!!! I found your other post on pinterest on little girls hair dos and my daughter FINALLY has enough hair to do most of them. I’m pinning this one so that in a couple months I can try these on her too!! She is actually pretty good at sitting still for me if I sing lots of songs and hand her different new things to play with…lotion bottles, combs, big hair elastics, spray bottles, etc. We also keep a basket of different toys she only sees while doing her hair, and for now, that is really exciting for her, and she sits pretty good for me.

    A) How did you do the flipped through things going UP into the piggies? Did you hold her on your lap face down or something? I love that one, I can’t wait to try and figure it out when my baby gets more hair!

    B) When you get more, post them so I can copy you.

    C) My baby girl’s name is Sadie too. I love seeing grown up girls named Sadie, when we decided on that name I was worried she wouldn’t be able to grow up with the name, and she would sound like a little girl her whole life, but I don’t think you come off that way at all, so yay, it’ll grow with her.

  11. All I can say I WOW, great job!!! My girls would love there hair to be done like that!!!

  12. I can’t believe the hours and work you spent on these styles. They are so amazing Sadie Jane….and that sweet precious Reagan who suffered through it all….happily of course…

  13. Love the sock bun style! So itty bitty cute! Thanks for sharing!!

  14. I have a toddler too. She is a fiesty one. Hard to get her to hold still. But have tried many of ur hairstyles. I have a company. We make any kind of hair accessorie you can think of. 15. So cute. Would it be possible to add little tutorials? Some of them are self explanatory but some aren’t (like the little bows)

  16. Adorable!!! Just have to say I’m a little sickened how much hair she has! My FIVE year old still doesn’t have that thick/full of hair!! hahaha It is sooo stinkin cute. I love the french braid pigtails the best!

  17. What do you use to make honey boo boo curls?

  18. I MUST know how you make the bows in her hair!!! Adorable!!! :)

  19. Any tutorials available your styles are soo cute!!

  20. tell me how to do the “honey boo boo curls” my girl has ringlets like your girls and sometimes its just a big fluffy mess lol,

  21. Would love to know how to do the Honey Boo Boo curls!

  22. I love these hairstyles. I have a 20 month old daughter and I am constantly looking for new hair-DOS to keep her hair out of her face. (we like to call it Einstein hair. Although I did finally break down and cut her bangs. I have been doing her hair daily since she was born so she just sits there and takes it. I will say it is the one time a day that I will kick my boys out of her room or the task becomes impossible. Thank you again for these great ideas. Riley is sure to love them!

  23. Mercedes cavazos says:

absolutely adorable do youany Sykes for curly hair

  24. I am so happy I came across this page!! I am a boy mom and didn’t realize what toddler girl hair entailed!! My 2 year old has thin curly hair and it is difficult to tame other than the normal pig tails. Was def looking for something cute. Here is my question…… how do you get your lines so perfect!?!?! I cannot get them straight I would love to hear your tips on getting such clean perfect lines!!
    Thank you!! She is ADORABLE!!

  25. Mommichas0912 says:

I wish your hairstyles were a little more informative. Maybe step by step if you could get her to ait long enough. Or just explaining the steps. But I do love them all.

  26. She is such a doll!! Will definitely be trying some of these on my bouncy toddler

  27. She is such a doll!! Will definitely be trying some of these on my bouncy toddler

  28. I’ve had a foster daughter for 4 months and when I got her I had no idea what to do with her hair. It was everywhere. Thanks for the tips. She always looks cute when we leave the house now. ;).

The link I provided is a scholarship contest for my son. It would be awesome if everyone could vote for him. There’s 3 days left and he’s behind so this mama is getting desperate.

  30. You do awesome toddler hair

  31. Oh wow u are amazing my 2 year old hates having her hair done and after having 5 boys before her I’m desperate to learn some cute styles! I wish I had ur talent..and if I did I wouldn’t tell anyone how! Lol..very kind of u to share with all of us mummies xx

  32. I feel like I have done everyone of these styles at one point or the other on my two daughters when they were younger. They are now 17 and 20 and I’m starting over with my 19 month old. I don’t care so much anymore she wears her hair down almost everyday.

  33. Your hairstyles are so cute :) my daughter has a crown in her hair so it grows differently it mostly swirls to the front and will not cooperate when I try to braid it or pull it bqck it just keeps falling forward do u have any suggestions?

  34. These are so cute! I’m a little jealous over how much her hair has grown since the first 15 post–my Sophie is almost 2 and still has somewhat short flyaway hair :) I’ve decided that if she leaves a headband in for more than five minutes, its a victory, lol!

  35. Love ‘em all! & your model is soooooo cute!!! Kiss her for me plssss! xoxo ;)

  36. I’d love to know how to get the honey boo boo curls on my little one please :)

  37. She Would look so beautiful with bangs

  38. You are gorgeous!
I always compromised on partition ponytail for my daughter. I can never think of so many good styles. Bun and curls are beyond my imagination on toddler hair.
thanks. I am very inspired. I was thinking to give her a hair cut because I am unable to manage her hair.
Good I visited your page. thx.
