Happy Birthday Brian!

See that handsome man in the middle...

that's my oldest brother Brian.

He isn't with us anymore but his birthday was today...

and if he were here we would be celebrating with lemon cake, Thai food and dry-ice bombs.

 That's his beautiful wife in the middle!

 We love you and miss you so much!

 Today we celebrate your life and what an amazing impact you had on everyone you came into contact with.

I know we will all be together again!

You better believe I packed my chillins' up and ventured through the states of Idaho, Oregon and onto Washington to see the family when my little Baylor was 4 weeks old!!

The drive really wasn't bad...every single mile trugged and every tear spilt was worth it!

My diaper bag and what I have in it!!

I've been meaning to post about my diaper bag for like ummm weeks now...but of course I never got around to it! 

So...better late than never right!?!

Well back in...oh I don't even remember the month...I posted about my diaper bag dilemma!

I searched and searched and asked all of you to tell me what I should buy...I EVEN bought one...an expensive one...and sent it back cause it was literally GINORMOUS and I felt bad for spending so much money.

I was seriously struggling to find to perfect bag for me.

My belly was getting bigger and time was getting short...I had all my sisters on the look out for possible bags that would work!

I obviously wanted it to be cute but more importantly I HAD to have all the right pockets and compartments...and let's be real...I needed it to be affordable!

One of my sisters was at TJMAXX and found this purse...

 and although I wasn't sure about the BOLD color...

 I WAS obsessed with the compartments and ALL the pockets!

and the fun details...

AND it was only 25 BUCKS...yeah you heard me right!!!

SO I took a chance and bought it...I figured I didn't have much to lose...I mean it is spring and it's all about BOLD colors this spring RIGHT!?

So far...I LOVE it...and it holds ALL my stuff perfectly!

 For one inside pocket:

toys, notebook, day planner and books

 For the zipper sleeve:

pens, bobby pins, lip gloss, chapstick and a jump drive (for all those pictures you take that you want printed off)

 Another inside pocket:

All things baby!!

burp cloth, nursing cover, wipes, diapers (both sizes of course) and a bulb syringe! (you never know when you're gonna need it)

 AND the last large compartment:

wallet, my handy little bag made by my adorable sister in-law that holds all the necessities for the whole family (lotion, sun screen, Clear eyes, Vaseline, TUMS) and of course my almonds and crasins for a healthy pick me up while out in town!

 Don't forget the outside pockets:

sippy cup or bottle, phone, more pens, more chapstick, hand sanitizer, keys, pacifier, cell phone and gum!

 A PERFECT FIT!

 Now that I have one arm holding a car seat and the other being pulled by a toddler I need to make sure I can have everything organized and ready to grab in a pinch!

AND to think I got it all for 25 bucks!

Yet another reason why I am OBSESSED with TJMAXX!!

The last 2 weeks!! {according to my phone}

Our little Baylor is 2 weeks old today!!

Everyone says it...and yeah it's sorta a cliche but for reals...time flies!!

The second we got little Baylor home we knew it would be different than when we brought Reagan home...what we didn't know is exactly HOW different...and although it's been a big adjustment for all of us and we have had our ups and downs...I wouldn't give it up for anything.

These instagram pics will give you a little window into our new lives!

{Reagan wouldn't even acknowledge Baylor in the hospital but the second we got home she wanted to hold and kiss and touch him. We have come close a few times to her sitting on him or picking him up without me seeing...I will have to keep my eyes on her}

 {Jeff and I were literally SHOWERED with meals, treats, flowers, visits and love all around!! I don't know how I will ever be able to thank everyone for everything! We feel so loved and blessed to have so many people support us!} 

The second day we got home we had AMAZING visitors come stay with us!! 

Grandma Vicki and Grandpa Craig came to stay with us and see little Baylor.

Vicki was SO helpful...she cooked, cleaned, played with Reagan and kept me company!

 Jeff and I have literally been kissing this little face non-stop!

I think she was trying to make a 'kissy' face.

 Jeff and I took initiative and got OURSELVES the pertussis vaccine to guard our new little newborn against WHOPPING COUGH!

I'm slowly learning how to juggle 2 kids...Reagan has been taking advantage of the extra time she has alone by getting herself into trouble.
Take this picture for example...she got into the trash and went hog-wild with a rib bone!

 Then the next thing I know she was sick with a bad fever for a couple days!

I was having a great time trying to feed one child and give the other T.L.C. all at the same time...have I said yet that this 2 kid thing is going to take some time to get used to!?!... 

 Welcome to my diet for the next 9 months (or however long it takes for me to get back to my pre-baby weight)

OI!

 Last Saturday this momma couldn't stay inside for another day so we decided to go to the zoo!

Reagan's first time...she LOVED IT!

 This view and beautiful weather has been amazing...

we've been able to get out with Baylor earlier.

 Holy size 14 foot!...'nuff said!

FINALLY on Monday I was able to go to crossfit again!!

It was my 'first official' time I went out by myself since I had little B.

You should have seen me...I turned up the music WAY to loud and even sang to the most annoying song...for reals who does that!?!

"I just met you...and this is crazy...but here's my number so call my maybe!"

Apparently it's an amazing one to sing in the car by yourself!! 

 I am LOVING life right now...

it definitely has it's challenges (but only because it's something new) and I have A LONG way to go in the fitness department but I feel so blessed with my 2 little children and my AMAZING helpful husband!

I am taking this new journey head on!

LIFE IS GOOD!
