{ABOUT}

Welcome to
SIMPLY SADIE JANE
I am so glad you have stopped by to get to know me and follow my {delicious} life!
I'm Sadie Jane!
I have also been known as Sade, Sister Sabin, Sadie Jane Candy Cane, Momma's, Nurse Sadie, Super Sadie Supreme, Slim Sadie, Sadie Baby and Sexy Sadie!
On a cold winter day in 1988 I came into the world where a loving mother, father and 6 brothers and sisters were waiting for me!
When I was 3 my parents got a divorce and my mother raised 8 children on her own for 4 years! To this day their isn't a person in the world that I look up to more! She truly is the reason I am who I am! Oh and if you could see the way she decorates and the way she dresses you would want to be her best friend! She is a real fashionista.
While my mother was single we moved from Utah to Oregon to be close to my father.
When I was 7 my mother married an amazing man and father!
We moved to Idaho and started our adventures as a family of 14!
I tell everyone that I am blessed to have 2 fathers!
It was a rough childhood but one filled with love and blessings!
It has made me strong and shaped my life for the best!
I LOVE Idaho! You should see the sunsets here in the summer! It is a great place to grow up! I had the privilege of growing up in the country where I took care of chickens, cows and horses! I may or may not have worn wranglers back in the day...you will NEVER know! Growing up in the country really taught me responsibility and discipline!
I went to college at BYU-I where I graduated with my Registered Nurse degree in 2008!
I was a Labor and Delivery nurse for almost 3 years and I couldn't have be more in love with my job!
I quite my job March 2011 to become a full-time mother.
To read about my reasons and decisions for quitting click {HERE}.
Then we decided to have another little monster is 2012...since the hubby was still a new grad...money was tight so I decided to start back as a Labor and Delivery nurse one night a week so help with the amazing ginormous bill that comes with having children!
My husband graduated from the same school April 2011 and is working as a project manager.
Speaking of my husband!
We met May 2008 and were married December 2008 in the Idaho Falls, ID Temple!
You say fast...I say love at first sight!
First of all he is the most handsome man around...don't ya think?
Second he is an amazing, hard working, loving, thoughtful, caring and compassionate husband.
Not only that but he is the BEST dad around!
We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.
We strive to live the gospel and look to God everyday.
We owe everything we have to Him.

  4. Wow! Just stumbled across your blog today looking for makeup tips. We have a very similar story! I am a SAHM and work per-diem, one night a week, in L&D. My two "monsters" came in 2009 and 2012. Porter and Elsa are the light of our lives! Plus, our husbands sound very similar. So strange, small world. Take care soul sister!
