Our first valentines day could not have been better! We drove to Mattawa the day before because Jeff had monday off of school. We hadn’t been in the house for more than 20 minutes when Vicki (my awesome mother in law) got all the girls together and gave them all matching aprons for Valentines day, including a bound recipe book of all our favorite dishes she cooks for us! I am so spoiled by her!
I used it just yesterday to make sunday dinner! Thanks Vicki!
Ok so the morning that we left for Mattawa (friday before Valentines Day) my wonderful adorable husband had something up his sleeve that I had no idea about! I had been working all night at the hospital and was ready to go to bed the next morning when I came home. Well I got home around 7 and Jeff had completely cleaned the apt. I mean vaccumed and dusted, the whole works. See the night before I had been stressing out because I wanted to clean the apt before Jeff and I left for the 10 hour drive to Mattawa. Little did I know that Jeff cleaned the whole apartment when I left for work that night! Well the Valentines day surprise wasn’t over yet! Once the hugs and kisses died down after I saw the apt he told me to sit on the couch and relax, but don’t fall asleep! I had no idea what he was up to…soon he called out my name and told me breakfast was ready! He had made a full on pink, heart Valentines breakfast for me! It was the sweetest, most precious thing he could have done for me on Valentines Day! I loved the pink milk and pancakes and the heart shaped toast! He is the most wonderful man!
