About a year ago I wrote my very first blog post full of hairstyles you can do for your little girl!!
It was fun how many of my readers loved them, so much fun that I wrote ANOTHER post that was stacked with even more hairstyles!
You all loved those EVEN MORE!! Ever since that post I have received comments and emails asking me to do tutorials on each hairstyle. Well, are you ready for me to blow your mind? I FINALLY did it! My plan is to post a toddler hairstyle ONCE A WEEK!
{we all know how crazy life can get so don’t give up on me if it takes 2 weeks to post it}
I decided to start off the tutorials with my FAVORITE hairstyle!
THE TODDLER HAIR BOWS
SUPPLIES
*spray bottle {with water}
*hairspray
*comb
*6 small hair ties
STEP 1: Part your daughters hair in the middle and continue the part to the side of her head just right above her ear.
{TIP: if you style your daughters hair while wet it’s a HECK OF A LOT easier!}
STEP 2: Gather the hair into a ponytail and tie her hair up and through the hair tie until the very last wrap of the hair tie. At the very last wrap only allow some of the hair to pass through the hair tie and leave the ‘tail’ pointing towards the FRONT of her face.
STEP 3: Separate the ’rounded chunk’ of hair into 2 equal pieces.
STEP 4: Take the ‘tail’ that is pointed towards the front of her face and pull it towards the back of her head, placing it in between the 2 equal separated pieces.
STEP 5: Take a rubber band and tie it around the piece of hair that you just pulled back, making sure you leave the ‘tail’ {that is now pointing towards the back} out of the rubber band.
STEP 6: Place the remaining piece of hair {the tail} in between your fingers and twist it around the base of your bow.
STEP 7: Continue to twist the remaining hair around the base of the bow until there is no more hair to wrap.
STEP 8: Secure the wrapped hair with another hair tie at the base of the bow.
{the lower the hair tie is, the more invisible it will be}
AND YOU ARE DONE!
You can do a couple little adjustments to your bows, like pulling and separating and hair spraying but for the most part your bows will look simple and complete!!
