This move has been a bit interesting for my little family and I. I would have never thought that I would feel nervous living in a big city. I mean, I grew up in the country but have traveled so much that I thought I would adjust to city living nicely. Until I actually moved to the big city, now it’s a different story! Since we moved, we’ve had power outages twice! And they lasted for quite a bit too! Like, all throughout the night. The first time it happened I was truly terrified!! How am I suppose to feel safe when our alarm system doesn’t work? Anyone could brake into our home! ANYONE!! After that night I made sure things were different the next time around! We were lucky to have Master Lock around the house, keeping our home and our valuable items really really safe! I know you’ve heard of Master Lock before! Master Lock products help consumers keep their personal property and important possessions safe and secure in case of severe weather.
September is National Preparedness Month in the U.S., and Master Lock is helping consumers prepare with tips and product solutions for keeping their families and belongings safe during a storm. Master Lock products include:
1. Master Lock Vault:
A safe, secure and convenient digital safe deposit box. Store digital duplicates of passports, wills, tax returns and other critical documents you can’t afford to lose. The Master Lock Vault is free and can be accessed 24 hours a day, via smartphone, tablet or computer, allowing for easy access in any situation.
2. Master Lock Magnum Padlocks:
Master Lock’s Magnum family of locks are some of the toughest and most weather-resistant locks around. They’re great for locking up sheds or garage, or locking down outdoor equipment (using an additional cable/chain) without worrying about theft. (Something that’s very prominent right now in Washington – residents affected by the wildfires are having their generators stolen. Master Lock actually donated 200 to help local citizens.) The second is a resettable combination lock that allows users to change the combination as often as possible, and provides access to family and friends easily because they do not need a key.
3. Python Adjustable Locking Cables:
Master Lock’s Python Adjustable Locking Cables are made up of a rust-resistant lock and vinyl-coated cable for superior weather resistance. Great for locking down bicycles, grills, ATVs, tools, ladders, lawnmowers, etc. in severe weather situations.

And…did you know
Master Lock recently donated 200 Magnum padlocks to a region of eastern Washington where homes were destroyed by wildfires.
Homeowners are using the Master Lock locks with chains to protect generators and other items from looters who are starting to strike the area.
Master Lock encourages consumers to support fellow Americans struck by storm disaster by donating to groups who aid in recovery, such as the American Red Cross – another group Master Lock has supported this year.
So, I guess only one question remains…
Which Master Lock product does your family need?
