I love baking, especially during the holidays. I don’t do it very often. But when I do…I LOVE doing it with my kids! Reagan is obsessed with helping me bake and although it takes more time and patience…I just LOVE when she learns something new! We recently went to TARGET and bought some exclusive M&M products and Glad holiday packaging to make some yummy desserts to share with our neighbors!
This year we decided to make the recipe on the back of the adorable holiday GLAD containers but with our own little twist!! It’s such an easy recipe too!
All you have to do is buy a SUGAR COOKIE mix and a BROWNIE mix. Make the sugar cookie mix as it is described and then make the brownie mix as it is described. Spray a 9×13 pan and spread the sugar cookie mix on their first. THEN spread the brownie mix on top of that! Bake at 350 for 35 minutes! The recipe actually calls for you to add mint extract to your brownies but I didn’t do that step because I am not a fan of mint so I left it out. After they were done baking we added the delicious M&M baking chips on top and drizzled the top with melted white chocolate chips! IT was SOOO good!
Target exclusive M&M’S® Holiday recipes are featured on the back of the Target exclusive Glad Holiday packaging (each recipe was designed to fit within the Glad container that features the recipe )

The kids and I were having so much fun baking that we decided to try out an all new recipe with the exclusive White Chocolate Peppermint M&M’S®!
We call these cookies our WHITE CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES!
This recipe originated from The Idea Room.
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar or 1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 to 1 tablespoon milk (add this at the very end just to make dough smooth and creamy)
1/2 to 1 cup semi-chocolate chips (depending on your preferred chocolate needs)
1/2 to 1 cup White Chocolate Peppermint M&M’S®
1. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in the egg and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour. Add milk (from 1/2 Tablespoon to 1 Tablespoon just enough to make the dough moist and creamy. Add chocolate chips and white chocolate peppermint M&M’S® and mix till just incorporated. If necessary, cover and chill dough about 1 hour or until easy to handle.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Drop cookies by scooping them out of the bowl with a spoon dropping them in small balls onto your greased cookie sheets. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until bottoms are light brown. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool. Makes about 36 cookies.
After we finished baking the kids took the left over M&M’s over to the tree and started making their own creations, like stars and trees! It was so cute to see them playing and interacting with each other.
