She starts kindergarten and all the sudden she’s 18 and moving to college.
Growing up before my eyes and I can’t do anything about it.
She told me today that, “We have little holes in our skin that let us sweat but pigs don’t so they roll in mud to cool off.”
…and then she read me a book from school. Yes. Read me a book.
Seeing her discover the world for the first time is both fascinating and terrifying.
But, as long as she continues to ask me for, “Two long hugs, and two big kisses,” every single time I drop her off at school, I think I can get on board with this growing up thing.
OH, and she has to be cool with matching me, for like, ever!
