LAUNDRY ROOM REMODEL
The laundry room was by far the scariest part of the basement. There was only one light bulb, exposed concrete walls, wires and plumbing pipe dangling from the ceiling and walls. The shelves were full of dust, cobwebs, and spiders (we sprayed a lot…like a lot). The drain hose for the Washer had to be run along the floor to a sewer pipe sticking out of a wall with no sheetrock. Needless to say, the laundry room needed a lot of help.
Here’s what we did
Removed old Shelves
Framed new walls around the entire room
Install new drain line for Washer
Installed new Water supply lines for Washer
Installed new Duct Vent for Dryer
Framed & Sheetrocked new walls (finally cover existing concrete walls)
Paint ceiling White (We used a Primer/Sealer paint from Home Depot, this worked to seal and protect the floor joists)
Removed old flooring & installed new glue down faux wood flooring
